The Queer Archives Project (QAP) at Lafayette College is a collaborative, interdisciplinary initiative designed to illuminate Lafayette’s Queer history, advance teaching, learning and research in the area of Queer Studies, and promote positive institutional transformation.The QAP is dedicated to capturing and preserving the experiences and reflections of Lafayette’s LGBTQ+ alumni, faculty and staff. Jointly led by the College Archives, Skillman Library’s Digital Scholarship Services and the Women’s & Gender Studies program, the project aims to expand and enrich our understanding of LGBTQ+ life at the College while positively impacting the campus climate. The Archives will be displaying memorabilia and historical records of LGBTQ+ life at Lafayette.
