This is a month recognizing the advancements contributed by women and celebrating their importance in society.

Starting March 1st, a series of programming will be implemented that’ll either inform individuals of the women experience or recognize their achievement. In this month, students, faculty and visitors alike will be learning first about the equity issue when it comes to the wages owed to women. Continuing from there, the salary negotiation panel will have speakers to teach advocacy for how to fight for increase in salary and ultimately, equity. Then there’ll be a [Insert Town Hall if approved]. On the 24th, there’ll be a fundraiser hosted between Pan-Hellenic & OID raising money for the 3rd Street Alliance. Lastly, we’ll be concluding with a conversation from Buddhist Nun Dr. Rongdao Li as she discusses the importance of women being in religious spaces and allowing them to have a voice.

Although not in March but still important, a safety planning conversation will be held to teach people how to avoid abusive relationships but also learn how to assist others who might’ve went through these abusive situations.
